Saturday Stitch: Waterfall Stitch


Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Waterfall Stitch.

 It's great for jackets, scarves, afghans, pillows or baby blankets etc. You need a stitch number multiple of 6 + 3. Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.

Instructions :


Row 1: (RS): p3, *k3, yo, p3; rep from *
Row 2: k3, *p4, k3; rep from *
Row 3: p3, *k1, k2tog, yo, k1, p3; rep from *
Row 4: k3, *p2, p2tog, k3; rep from *
Row 5: p3, *k1, yo, k2tog, p3; rep from *
Row 6: k3, *p3, k3; rep from *With this stitch you will be increasing on Row 1 and will return to the original number of stitches after knitting Row 4. Be sure you end with Row 4 completed.
